World Pro Jiu-jitsu Cup 2010The last Brazilian trials for the World Pro Jiu-jitsu Cup 2010 went down this weekend in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.  The winners of this event not only received entrance to the prestigious World Pro Cup that takes place  April 14th, at Abu Dhabi but travel with all expenses paid.  With the Trials taking place in the birthplace of BJJ, Brazil, there was some very fierce competition. At the Flamengo Soccer Club this Sunday we saw the continued rise of Rafael Mendes, who ran through the tournament capturing first place after a number of submissions.  Rafael’s brother, Guilherme secured his plane ticket to the World Pro Cup a few weeks earlier in Gramado Brazil when the team Atos brothers closed out the -65kg weight group.
